Throughout the years, it has become a strong, diverse chapter that strives to exude love, honor, and truth in everything it does. Bid Day 2011
On Saturday, August 20, 88 new girls were added to our Chapter. Congratulations to the girls that worked hard to get an amazing 2011 pledge class! (read more)
PHI MU has 3rd highest grades on the row!
Phi Mu placed 3rd on the Row for GPA; 39 girls earned 4.0s, and 47 earned a 3.5-3.99! Congratulations ladies, keep up the great work! (read more)
Phi Mu Wins BIG at Order of Omega Awards!
On Sunday, April 20, Order of Omega hosted its annual awards ceremony to recognize chapters for outstanding chapter events, programs, and service. The event also honors individual Greek student leaders who have demonstrated outstanding character, scholarship, leadership, and integrity, in the Greek community or across LSU’s campus. The Alpha Eta Chapter of Phi Mu received the Order of Omega Outstanding Chapter Award. In addition, Torie Prothro, 2010 President, received the Rho Lamda Outstanding Senior award and Lauren Perry received the Outstanding PHC Advisor award. Members Sara Blakemore, Carol Ann Daniel, and Hannah Salsbury received recognition for being top Greek Week Fundraisers while freshmen, Kimberly Rushton, was recognized as the Overall Top Fundraiser for Greek Week 2011. Songfest Champions AGAIN!
On Sunday, April 10, the Alpha Eta Chapter of Phi Mu won first place in Songfest for the second year in a row! This year marked the 90th anniversary of Songfest, a dance and song competition among LSUs Greek organizations. Phi Mu was paired with Kappa Sigma Fraternity and Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority and danced to the theme of "Five Star Chick." Members Natalie Jeansonne, Chynna Anderson, Jen Baer, and Maggie Joyner choreographed the winning routine. Stepshow 2011

Phi Mu Raises Overall GPA AGAIN!
The Alpha Eta chapter of Phi Mu had another fantastic semeste with 30 girls earning a 4.0 GPA!! We raised our overall GPA from a 3.223 to a 3.282! Congratulations Girls! Phi Mu had the third highest overall GPA on the row, and our actives had the second highest overall GPA! Keep up the good work! Congratulations on another awesome semester! (read more)
Craft at the children's hospital
A group of chapter members gathered at Alpha Eta's local children's hospital at Our Lady of the Lake. They helped the children make door hangers to place on their hospital room door! These door hangers helped to make the their rooms feel more welcoming and less like a hospital. Both the children and chapter members enjoyed this experience very much, and can't wait to return! Phi Mu Wins Kappa Sigma Kickoff!
Congratulations to both Phi Mu teams who took home first again this year for Kappa Sigma's annual flag football tournament! All of the teams did great, and the day was full of fun! Great job to all the Phi Mu's who played hard! (read more)
There's No Place Like HOME
On August 21, Phi Mu welcomed it's newest pledge class! It was a day filled with water guns, TONS of food, swimming, and sisterhood! Everyone had a blast meeting all 84 new Phi Mu's and making many memories! (read more)
